In this role, you will help maintain a safe, dignified, and engaging environment, balancing assistance with personal care while supporting independence and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities

Personal Care Support:

Assist clients with daily activities (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance with gentle reassurance.

Cognitive & Emotional Engagement:

Facilitate structured, person-centered activities designed to stimulate memory, support physical mobility, and promote positive emotional well-being (e.g., music therapy, gentle crafts, memory games).

Safety & Behavior Management:

Maintain a secure, hazard-free environment to prevent wandering and fall risks; employ de-escalation techniques and redirection during periods of sundowning, confusion, or agitation.

Meal Preparation & Medication Assistance:

Prepare nutrition-rich meals suited to dietary needs and provide timely medication reminders.

Observation & Reporting:

Track cognitive or behavioral changes, maintain daily care logs, and communicate regularly with family members and healthcare supervisors. Qualifications & Requirements

Skills:

Strong empathy, exceptional patience, active listening, and proven ability to remain calm under pressure.

Clearances:

Ability to pass a background check

Pay:

$18.00 - $28.00 per hour
