Job Description

Job Summary Extended Family Alaska Assisted Living Home is searching for full-time Caregivers at the Palmer location. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years' experience working with adults with developmental disabilities. The candidate should be motivated, patient, strongly independent, and social. The candidate must exhibit attention to detail and have solid problem solving, decision making and writing skills. The candidate will provide assistance with daily activities including dressing, grooming, meal preparation, medication distribution, laundry, transportation to and from appointments as needed and light housekeeping. Duties

  • Completing documentation of assistance provided
  • Medication preparation and distribution
  • Adherence to the residents' plans of care and goals
  • Adherence to all policies and procedures
