Responsibilities Provide attentive care to individuals with disabilities, always ensuring their safety and comfort Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns. Maintain clear communication with individual, parents or guardians. Create a nurturing environment that fosters emotional security and encourages positive behavior Provide light house cleaning, will do laundry, some cooking, once a week go to store for client pick up prescriptions, groceries, and pay Bills. Skills Proven experience in individuals with disabilities Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable but not necessary. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and adaptability in caregiving roles Experience supporting clients with complex needs including geriatrics, intellectual disabilities, or chronic health conditions is desirable.
