Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Home Health Caregiver to provide personalized in-home support for an adult client who uses a wheelchair and requires assistance with personal care, safe mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and daily routines. The ideal caregiver will be patient, attentive, safety-conscious, and comfortable assisting with transfers and short-distance mobility using a rollator. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and supportive home environment while helping a client maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM Availability for the full weekday schedule is required. Responsibilities Assist with safe toileting, bathing, sponge bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene. Provide mobility assistance and safely support the client while using a wheelchair and rollator for short distances, including during toileting and bathing. Follow safe transfer and mobility practices and maintain a hazard-free environment to reduce the risk of falls. Monitor the client's comfort and general well-being throughout the day and promptly communicate any concerning changes to the designated family contact. Provide medication reminders and assistance as needed. The client manages her own medications. Assist with appropriate hydration and nutritional routines, including preparation of balanced, client-preferred meals and snacks. Encourage gentle movement and activities that support comfort and mobility, within the client's established care plan. Provide companionship through conversation, games, social interaction, and other activities the client enjoys. Ensure the client is comfortable and has needed items within reach before the end of the shift. Follow all applicable home-care policies, safety procedures, confidentiality requirements, and care-plan instructions. Ideal Candidate The ideal caregiver is someone who is: Patient, kind, and genuinely enjoys providing companionship. Attentive to safety and detail. Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility. Reliable and consistent with weekday attendance. Comfortable balancing caregiving responsibilities with light household duties. Respectful of the client's independence, preferences, and dignity. Able to create a calm, clean, and comfortable home environment. Important Schedule Requirement This position requires availability Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates must be able to reliably commit to the full weekday schedule. Pay:
