Job Summary Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional well-being. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help promote independence and improve quality of life for those you serve. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those needing specialized memory or dementia care. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques. Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation. Administer medication following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Support clients with home & community care tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces to promote a safe and comfortable environment. Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or social activities to foster community engagement. Document all care activities accurately in accordance with resident's rights and facility policies while maintaining professional communication with clients and their families. Experience Candidates should have prior experience working in home health or long-term care settings, especially with seniors or individuals with neurodevelopmental or intellectual disabilities. Experience working with individuals with autism, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory-related conditions is highly valued. Familiarity with care plans, medication administration, patient monitoring techniques such as vital signs measurement, CPR certification, first aid knowledge, and the use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts is essential. Previous roles involving assisted living or nursing home environments are preferred. A background in caregiving that includes heavy lifting, manual handling, patient transfer methods, and supporting residents' rights ensures success in this role. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach are critical for building trust and providing exceptional client-centered care. Pay:
$16.50 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 22.0 per week
