Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring personalized care in their own homes. We are specifically hiring care givers to work with the
CES - DDS
population. This energetic position offers the opportunity to provide essential support with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional well-being. Your dedication will help clients maintain independence, safety, and comfort while fostering a trusting and respectful relationship. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report changes to healthcare professionals promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required Assist medication management following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Support clients with memory care needs related to Alzheimer's disease or dementia through engaging activities and reassurance Provide companionship and emotional support to promote social interaction and mental well-being Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes; long-term care experience is highly valued Certification in First Aid and CPR; knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential Familiarity with patient observation, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and care planning Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia-related conditions including Alzheimer's and memory care Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients' families and healthcare teams Valid driver's license / for travel between client locations Must pass background checks, (and other Child Maltreatment and Adult Maltreatment checks) Able to use computer for care notes and documentation.
