Job Description

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
: High school diploma or GED. Prefer experience working with individuals with disabilities. Current Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance. Ability to lift 25 lbs., bend, and stoop repeatedly. The care plan dictates the average time spent standing and sitting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Help individuals in a home or community-based setting. Assist with daily living activities, including but not limited to meal prep, medication reminders, and personal care. Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals to community events and providing transportation as necessary. Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff Share any useful information regarding clients gained from casual contact with parents with the supervisor. Discuss any communication regarding a client's progress with the Program Coordinator before discussing it with the parent or guardian. Submit all paperwork, including time sheets, promptly, adhering to all deadlines and ensuring that all are thorough, accurate, and complete. Perform other duties as assigned.
