Job Description
The Assistant Caregiver reports to the Program Director and is supervised by a Certified Caregiver in order to assist residents with their activities of daily living in the Assisted Living community. Assistant Caregivers provide support to Certified Caregivers by helping with new move-ins, discharges, transfers, interacting with residents and answering call lights as well as other customer service-related requests. Assistant Caregivers do not administer, assist with or document medications and therefore do not require a certification. > Fingerprinting Clearance Card (or eligible to obtain) > Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing > Tuberculosis Testing > Employee Health Screening (Conducted after Hire) > Ability to Move, Lift and Transfer a minimum of 50 Pounds > Must be able to Speak, Read, Write and Understand English Haven Health is the largest rural healthcare provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation throughout Arizona.
