Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), may include bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record members daily behaviors. Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities Implement behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control standards Communicate effectively with residents' families, healthcare providers, and team members to coordinate care plans and updates Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly valued Ability to perform manual handling and safe patient lifting techniques to prevent injury Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments Proficiency in client communication, behavior management, and home & community care practices Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in geriatrics or heavy lifting are advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your caregiving expertise transforms lives.
