Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote dignity and independence Support residents with medication reminders and basic health monitoring, including vital signs when trained Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques to ensure safety for both residents and staff Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration to meet individual dietary needs Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas through light cleaning duties Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition, including behaviors associated with dementia or cognitive disabilities Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, memory care, dementia care, and behavioral management technique Certification in CPR and First Aid is strongly desired; ongoing training provided if needed Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers safely Commitment to respecting residents' rights and maintaining confidentiality at all times Join us to be part of a caring team dedicated to enriching lives through compassionate support.
