Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to promote dignity and independence Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, administering medications as prescribed, and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals Support residents with mobility using manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods to ensure safety during movement Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with care plans and assist residents with meal consumption to meet their dietary needs Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring a safe, hygienic environment Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies, including resident progress notes and incident reports Provide emotional support through active communication, companionship, and engagement tailored to individual preferences and conditions such as dementia or autism Requirements Proven experience working in group homes, caregiving, or Senior living (3months Min) Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential Familiarity with care for residents with developmental disabilities enhances your effectiveness in this role Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications related to hospice care or hospice support are a plus Strong understanding of resident's rights, HIPAA compliance, and confidentiality standards necessary for responsible caregiving Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and documentation purposes Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight hours as needed Join us as a Direct Care Worker to bring energy and compassion into the lives of those who need it most. Pay:
