Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic In Home Caregiver to join our compassionate team. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care to clients across various settings, supporting their daily needs and promoting their well-being. Your enthusiasm and commitment will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with activities of daily living, health monitoring, and companionship. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts when necessary Support clients with medication administration and monitoring vital signs to ensure health stability Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as needed Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life Help with household chores including cleaning, laundry, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as toileting, mobility assistance, and assisting with transfers Document care provided accurately in care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's), memory care, and hospice care practices Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications related to healthcare are advantageous Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and adhering to HIPAA standards Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join us at Guardian Home Care of AZ, LLC where your dedication can truly transform lives!
