is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional Live-In Certified Caregiver for our small residential assisted living home. We serve no more than five residents in a comfortable, home-like setting and focus on individualized, respectful care. Position Summary The Live-In Caregiver will reside at the home while working an established caregiver schedule. This position includes designated work hours, off-duty periods, sleep periods, days off, and relief coverage. Living at the home does not mean being on duty 24 hours per day. Specific scheduling and live-in arrangements will be discussed during the interview. Responsibilities Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation Prepare and serve meals Assist residents with eating and hydration when needed Provide medication assistance within the authorized scope of the position Observe residents and report changes in condition Complete required caregiver and resident documentation Provide companionship and encourage resident activities Perform resident-related laundry and light housekeeping Maintain clean and safe resident areas Follow infection-control, emergency, safety, and facility procedures Communicate professionally with residents, families, healthcare providers, coworkers, and management Qualifications Arizona caregiver training/certification appropriate for the position Memory care training/certification Current CPR and First Aid certification Fingerprint Clearance Card Current TB documentation Previous assisted living, residential care, elder-care, or memory-care experience preferred Dependable and punctual Compassionate, patient, and respectful Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable assisting residents with activities of daily living Able to safely perform the essential duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation when applicable Live-In Arrangement The live-in position may include: Private sleeping accommodations Utilities Designated personal and off-duty time Scheduled days off Relief coverage Specific details regarding work hours, overnight responsibilities, and time off will be reviewed before employment begins.
