Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Live-In Caregiver to join our assisted living team. Our residential assisted living home serves 10 residents in a warm, home-like environment focused on dignity, respect, and quality care. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about serving seniors and who enjoy working closely with residents, families, nurses, and fellow caregivers. Most residents are ambulatory, though some require one-person assistance with activities of daily living. The successful candidate will be a team player, dependable, attentive to detail, and committed to providing exceptional resident care. Facility Overview Licensed residential assisted living home 10 residents Team of 2-3 caregivers Small, family-oriented environment Focus on resident dignity, safety, and quality of life Live-in caregiver is provided with a private bedroom, offering personal space and privacy while working in a comfortable, home-like environment
Compensation & Schedule Certified Caregiver:
$3,000 per month Live-in position Private bedroom provided Utilities included during scheduled work periods Four days off per month Supportive team environment with leadership available for guidance and assistance Why Join Our Team? Small 10-resident home where you can truly get to know the residents and families Private bedroom accommodations provided for live-in staff Stable monthly compensation Supportive team atmosphere Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors every day Consistent resident assignments that allow caregivers to build strong relationships with residents Professional and respectful work environment focused on teamwork and quality care Primary Responsibilities Resident Care Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene Assist with transfers and mobility as needed Monitor resident well-being and promptly report changes in condition Provide companionship and emotional support Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and respect at all times Medication & Documentation Administer medications according to physician orders and facility procedures (if properly trained and authorized) Complete required documentation accurately and timely Communicate resident concerns and observations to the Team Lead, Manager, nurses, and healthcare providers Household Responsibilities Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment Perform housekeeping duties including: Cleaning resident rooms Laundry Bathroom cleaning Common area maintenance General housekeeping tasks Meal Service Support Assist the Team Lead with meal preparation Help with food service and kitchen cleanup Follow dietary instructions and resident meal plans Team Collaboration Work cooperatively with fellow caregivers Support the Team Lead in daily operations Attend required meetings and training Follow facility policies, procedures, and resident care plans Qualifications Required At least 21 years of age Ability to communicate effectively in English Compassionate and respectful attitude toward seniors Reliable transportation Ability to pass background screening requirements Ability to work collaboratively with a team Arizona Caregiver Certification CPR and First Aid Certification Experience with medication administration Experience documenting care electronically 3-5+ years of Assisted living, residential care, and caregiving experience Preferred Memory care experience Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Compassionate and resident-centered Reliable and dependable Professional and respectful A strong team player Willing to learn and accept coaching Able to remain calm during emergencies Organized and attentive to detail Committed to providing exceptional care for seniors If you enjoy making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and want to be part of a supportive and caring team, we encourage you to apply today!
