Role:
As a Veteran Caregiver with Upscale Home Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our nation's heroes. Our caregivers provide dignified support to veterans and their families, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing non-medical companionship, personal care, and light housekeeping services, all while respecting the unique needs and preferences of each client.
Responsibilities:
Provide non-medical companionship and social support to veterans and their families Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders Engage in activities that stimulate the mind and body, such as puzzles, exercises, and outdoor activities Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field (additional training provided) Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and provide physical assistance as needed Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients' homes Availability to work variable schedules, including evenings and weekends
