Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Male Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their dignity and independence. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about senior care and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality direct support. Duties Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment. Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to nursing staff. Support residents with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary. Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times. Assist with dementia care by employing appropriate techniques to engage and comfort residents. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to hygiene and safety protocols. Document care provided and communicate effectively with team members regarding resident needs. Skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff. Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others. Strong understanding of resident rights and the ability to advocate for them. Knowledge of dementia care techniques and patient monitoring practices. Ability to perform lifting as required for resident mobility assistance. Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus.
