Responsibilities include:

Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) Temporary non-medical care and supervision provided in client's home. Attend to client basic self help needs Meal preparation and feeding assistance Companionship and meaningful engagement Supporting routines for individuals with cognitive, intellectual, or developmental disabilities Maintaining a calm, patient, and supportive presence Mandatory Requirements First aid & CPR certification Negative TB test Live Scan Background Check Skills Experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Demonstrated ability in activity planning tailored to children's interests and developmental stages. Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for young children. First aid certification and CPR training to ensure safety in emergency situations. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Effective communication skills for engaging with parents, team members, and children in a respectful manner. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.
