This role involves delivering comprehensive care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being for clients with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized memory or dementia care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care and demonstrate excellent communication skills, ensuring each client receives respectful and personalized support in their home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, including vital signs and overall condition Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support patients with mobility using appropriate transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and organization of the living space Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life Assist with transportation for appointments, errands, or community engagement Follow established care plans meticulously, documenting observations and any changes in condition Ensure compliance with resident's rights, privacy standards, and safety protocols Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia through specialized memory care techniques Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and support teams

Requirements:

Prior experience working as an in-home caregiver or in assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings Knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is preferred Familiarity with medication administration, first aid, CPR certification required Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and resident's rights Excellent communication skills for client interaction and documentation Ability to assist with ADLs efficiently while maintaining dignity and respect for clients' independence Home health or long-term care experience is highly desirable Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for client mobility assistance If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives through compassionate caregiving, we encourage you to apply today.
