Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to 6 individuals in our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence in daily living activities. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the client's living space to ensure a safe environment. Support clients with mobility assistance, including transferring from bed to wheelchair or other mobility aids. Document care provided and report any significant changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or family members. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction. Provide specialized care for individuals with conditions such as dementia, autism, or developmental disabilities. Skills Experience in caregiving or related fields such as home care, senior care, or long-term care is preferred. Knowledge of dementia care practices and memory care techniques is highly desirable. Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Patience and empathy when working with individuals facing physical or cognitive challenges. Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
