Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety. Monitor and record clients' health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical equipment when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety protocols. Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans. Requirements Read, Write, and Speak English At least 6 months of experience, which could include caring for a family member HCA Certification or Willingness to Get Certified Pass a Criminal Background Check A vehicle with Valid Car Insurance Valid Driver's License Previous experience in a healthcare setting such as a Level I or Level II Trauma Center, teaching hospital, or clinic is preferred. Knowledge of emergency medicine practices is a plus. Familiarity with inpatient care procedures, particularly in pediatric intensive care units (PICU), is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work independently while following established care plans. Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable.
