Your Key Responsibilities:
Build and Manage Schedules:
Create, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly schedules that match Care Professionals to clients based on skills, availability, location, and compatibility.
Fill Shifts Quickly:
Respond promptly to call-offs, last-minute changes, and open shifts to ensure no client is left without care, including coordinating coverage for urgent and same-day needs.
Optimize Continuity of Care:
Prioritize consistent Care Professional-client pairings to build trust and deliver the highest quality of care. Coordinate with the
Team:
Work closely with the care team, on-call staff, and leadership to align staffing with client care plans and changing needs.
Communicate Effectively:
Serve as the key point of contact between Care Professionals and clients regarding scheduling, availability, and shift confirmations.
Maintain Accurate Records:
Keep precise, up-to-date records of schedules, availability, time-off requests, and staffing changes in the scheduling system.
Monitor Availability:
Track Care Professional availability, hours, and overtime to balance workloads and control costs while meeting client needs.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Client Connections:
Conduct client/Care Professional introductions and quality assurance visits as needed.
On-Call Support:
Participate in the on-call rotation to handle after-hours scheduling needs as required.
Support Retention:
Help foster positive relationships with Care Professionals to support engagement and retention. Qualification (required):
Scheduling/Staffing Experience:
Minimum 3 years of scheduling or staffing coordination experience, preferably in home care, home health, hospice, or a healthcare setting.
Availability:
This is primarily an in-office role with the ability to respond flexibly to urgent staffing needs, including occasional after-hours coverage.
Tech Proficiency:
Comfortable using scheduling software and general office/computer tools. If you have worked with Wellsky, it is added advantage Skills for
