Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old. Must pass DOJ/FBI background check and fingerprinting (Live Scan). Negative TB test and health screening required. Must have current First Aid certification (CPR preferred). Must be able to communicate clearly and work cooperatively with others. Must show compassion, patience, and a desire to work with elderly residents. Experience in caregiving, assisted living, or similar setting is a plus. Ability to lift 100+ lbs and assist with transfers (depending on resident needs).

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring residents' safety at all times. Monitor and report changes in residents' health and behavior to the nursing staff. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents. Engage residents in recreational and social activities. Ability to handle stressful situations with empathy and professionalism Support clients with specialized care needs such as hospice care, senior care, and behavioral management

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to assist with resident transfers and mobility. Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities CPR and First aid certification preferred Live scan will be scheduled prior to employment Knowledge of working with various medical equipment preferred

$16.90 - $22.00 per hour
