Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve by delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and fostering a warm, respectful environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a dynamic and supportive team. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings promptly Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning in accordance with care plans and dietary restrictions Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care protocols Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning and organization to promote hygiene and comfort Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's personal assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility Document care activities accurately, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, home health, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed for resident support Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient monitoring techniques Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide high-quality personal care in a respectful manner Join us to be part of a team that values your dedication and offers opportunities to grow while making a positive impact on the lives of others. $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
