The Lighthouse at Chico is hiring Caregivers to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. Our caregivers are an important part of our residents' daily lives. This role is about more than completing tasks. It is about getting to know the people you care for, noticing when something changes, offering encouragement, and helping residents feel comfortable and supported. Available Schedules Schedule Option 1 Friday through Monday Shift starts at 1:00 PM Schedule Option 2 Tuesday through Saturday Shift starts at 1:00

PM Pay:

Responsibilities include:

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care Provide mobility, transfer, and positioning assistance as appropriate Respond promptly and respectfully to resident needs Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support Assist residents during meals and community activities Observe residents for changes in condition, behavior, or needs and report concerns to the appropriate supervisor Complete required resident documentation accurately Help maintain clean, organized, and comfortable resident living areas Follow infection-control procedures and community policies Support resident dignity, privacy, independence, and quality of life Work collaboratively with Medication Technicians, Wellness staff, and other community team members What We're Looking For Previous caregiving experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, senior living, home care, or a related setting preferred Experience working with older adults preferred Compassionate, patient, dependable, and attentive Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable assisting residents with activities of daily living Ability to recognize and communicate changes in resident condition CPR and First Aid certification preferred Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work one of the posted 1:00 PM schedules Experienced caregivers are strongly encouraged to apply.
