Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and nursing facilities. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations to ensure health status is maintained or improved Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer techniques Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation procedures Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being Follow detailed care plans developed by healthcare professionals or social workers Assist with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a comfortable living environment Observe for changes in condition or behavior, reporting concerns promptly to supervisory staff Support residents during activities that promote social engagement and community participation Experience Candidates should have prior experience in caregiving roles within settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, home health, hospice care, or group homes. Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities is highly valued. Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are preferred. Familiarity with medication administration, patient monitoring, HIPAA compliance, and care planning is essential. Previous work involving patient observation, assisted living procedures, heavy lifting (including Hoyer lifts), vital signs measurement, and long-term care is advantageous. A background in social work or home & community care further enhances suitability for this role. Candidates must demonstrate patience, compassion, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life.
