Resident Assistant Schedule:
5 days per week 10 hours a day (From 10PM to 8AM)
Pay:
$17 per hour We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Night Shift Caregiver to provide overnight care and supervision for elderly residents in our Residential Care Facility. The ideal candidate will ensure residents' safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night while maintaining a calm and supportive environment. Responsibilities Conduct routine safety and wellness checks on residents throughout the night. Assist residents with toileting, incontinence care, bathing, dressing, and other personal care needs. Respond promptly to resident call requests and emergencies. Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility support as needed. Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition. Administer medications according to facility policies and training requirements (if applicable). Maintain accurate documentation and complete shift reports. Ensure resident rooms and common areas remain clean, safe, and organized. Communicate effectively with management and incoming staff regarding resident care needs. Qualifications Previous caregiving, CNA, HHA, or residential care experience preferred. Ability to work independently during overnight hours. Compassionate, patient, and reliable. Strong communication and observation skills. Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely. Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements.
