Caregiver needed for a male client - must be able to be attentive to client who needs supervision and stand and assist at all times. Client is a fall risk and has one sided weakness and blood clots. Caregiver to assist him with care needs and ambulation assistance with gait belt : Various shift times available (hours subject to change and not guaranteed. Offered hours are based on current client needs and may change): currently seeking caregiver for 4-6 hour shifts 3-6 days a week, scheduled days and hours may vary. Caregivers hired may also be placed on other assignments with other clients, according to client and agency staffing needs and caregiver availability. Ability to work at least one weekend day a week is a plus, and may be required on this particular assignment. Homemaking and Companion care needed to care for client that needs supervision, walks every couple hours, medication reminders, weigh client and possible meal prep, light house cleaning, linen changes and laundry, etc. Care is for one male client cognitive senior in client home. Caregiver should also be aware that client wife lives in the home. Assisting clients with personal care:

grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence issues Household errands: meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping

Transportation:

driving clients to and from appointments/activities, and running errands.

Mobility assistance:

help clients getting in and out of wheelchairs, car or shower, stand by assist with gait belt every few hours to increase client circulation.
