General recruiting, retail, customer service, or office experience alone does not meet the requirements for this position. A current or previous CNA certification or California LVN license is preferred but not required. Position Summary Era Life Care and Era Home Health are seeking an experienced and dependable Home Care Staffing Coordinator & Recruiter . The primary focus of this position is recruiting, screening, onboarding, and staffing qualified healthcare employees for workers' compensation, catastrophic-injury, private-duty, and home-care cases. This person will recruit and coordinate: Registered Nurses Licensed Vocational Nurses Certified Nursing Assistants Personal Care Attendants Caregivers and Home Health Aides The successful candidate must understand healthcare staffing, employee availability, client-care needs, credential requirements, urgent call-outs, and the importance of maintaining continuous client coverage. P rimary ResponsibilitiesHealthcare Recruiting and Staffing Recruit, screen, interview, and hire RNs, LVNs, CNAs, Personal Care Attendants, caregivers, and Home Health Aides. Staff workers' compensation, catastrophic-injury, private-duty, and home-care cases. Match qualified employees with clients based on experience, skills, availability, location, schedule, and care needs. Maintain an active candidate pipeline for new cases, weekend shifts, overnight assignments, call-outs, and difficult-to-staff locations. Post and manage targeted healthcare job advertisements. Conduct applicant screening calls and in-person interviews. Follow up consistently with applicants throughout the hiring and placement process. Assist with urgent call-outs and replacement coverage. Onboarding, Orientation, and Training Manage the new-hire onboarding process. Conduct employee orientations and training. Verify licenses, certifications, CPR cards, background clearances, health records, and required employment documents. Train employees on attendance, call-out procedures, timekeeping, client expectations, and documentation. Ensure employees are fully cleared before being assigned to a client. Provide retraining when employees fail to follow company procedures. Payroll and Daily Activity Notes Verify scheduled shifts against employee clock-in and clock-out records. Identify missed punches, overlapping shifts, early clock-outs, late clock-outs, and unauthorized overtime. Follow up with employees and supervisors regarding payroll discrepancies. Collect Daily Activity Notes from Personal Care Attendants and caregivers. Review notes for dates, signatures, services provided, accuracy, and completeness. Follow up daily on missing or incomplete notes. Maintain organized records in WellSky and company tracking systems. Weekend On-Call Coverage Participate in required rotating weekend on-call phone coverage. Remain available and responsive during assigned weekends. Answer employee, client, and staffing calls and text messages. Handle employee call-outs and assist with finding qualified replacement coverage. Respond to urgent scheduling and client concerns. Escalate serious or unresolved situations to management. Document weekend calls, staffing changes, incidents, and follow-up actions. Applicants who cannot participate in rotating weekend on-call phone coverage should not apply. Required Qualifications At least two years of experience in home care, home health, healthcare staffing, private-duty nursing, skilled nursing, assisted living, or a related healthcare environment. Direct knowledge of the responsibilities of RNs, LVNs, CNAs, Personal Care Attendants, caregivers, and Home Health Aides. Experience with healthcare recruiting, staffing, scheduling, onboarding, employee coordination, or case coverage. Ability to understand client-care needs and select appropriately qualified employees. Strong telephone, interviewing, communication, and follow-up skills. Ability to remain calm and organized during call-outs and urgent staffing situations. Comfortable holding employees accountable for attendance, timekeeping, documentation, and compliance. Reliable attendance and ability to work in person at the Covina office. Availability for rotating weekend on-call phone coverage. Preferred Qualifications Current or previous CNA certification or California LVN license. Experience staffing workers' compensation or catastrophic-injury cases. Experience staffing private-duty or 24-hour home-care cases. Experience recruiting RNs, LVNs, CNAs, and Personal Care Attendants. Experience conducting new-hire orientations and employee training. Experience with WellSky Personal Care or similar healthcare software. Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills. This individual must be able to: Recruit consistently and produce qualified candidates. Communicate confidently with nurses and caregivers. Respond with urgency when a case needs coverage. Follow up without constant reminders. Hold employees accountable professionally. Manage several priorities and deadlines. Work independently while remaining a strong team player. Compensation $23.00

00 per hour , depending on direct healthcare staffing experience, industry knowledge, qualifications, and the ability to perform the position independently.
