In this vital role, you will provide attentive, respectful, and comprehensive assistance to clients in their homes, fostering independence and enhancing quality of life. Your dedication will help clients maintain comfort, safety, and dignity while receiving the care they need. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those managing chronic conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will be essential in delivering exceptional home care services. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status accurately Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while maintaining food safety standards Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior, reporting findings promptly to healthcare professionals Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, adhering to privacy standards such as HIPAA Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning client living areas to promote a healthy environment Follow prescribed care plans meticulously while adapting to individual needs and preferences Support clients in community outings or appointments to foster social integration and independence Experience Prior experience working in home health care or assisted living environments is highly preferred Experience with patient monitoring, medication administration, and vital signs measurement is essential Group home experience or long-term care background demonstrates your ability to handle diverse client needs effectively Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities enhances your suitability for this role Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in HIPAA compliance is advantageous Familiarity with assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts ensures safe patient handling Previous work involving heavy lifting or physical support for mobility aligns well with the demands of this position Join us in delivering compassionate home care that transforms lives!
