Job Description

PAID CAREGIVER POSITION + PRIVATE ROOM OPTION

Healthcare / Pre-Health Student Caregiver Earn $20-$25/hour while gaining hands-on caregiving experience — with an optional private bedroom available in the same two-bedroom apartment. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable healthcare or pre-health student to assist an adult with a spinal cord injury (SCI).

THE OPPORTUNITY

$20-$25/hour for caregiving Approximately 16 to 32 hours/week Monday-Friday 4-hour morning shift + 4-hour evening shift Weekends currently covered by other caregivers Private bedroom available for $1,750/month, including utilities Housing is separate from employment No unpaid caregiving or on-call responsibilities

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Healthcare and pre-health students are especially encouraged to apply, including: Nursing CNA Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy Pre-med Rehabilitation Related healthcare programs No prior caregiving experience required — training is provided.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Mobility assistance Personal care Activities of daily living Follow an established care plan Provide compassionate and respectful support Employment is through a licensed home-care agency.

IMPORTANT

Outside scheduled, paid work hours, you are a roommate — not a caregiver. There is no expectation of unpaid caregiving, overnight care, or being on call.
