Full Job Description Position Summary:
The ILS Instructor provides one-on-one training and support to adult clients with developmental disabilities, promoting independence and integration into their communities. The instructor helps clients meet personal goals in areas such as budgeting, communication, safety, self-advocacy, and daily living skills.Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized, client-centered instruction in the client's home or community Assist clients in developing and practicing skills such as grocery shopping, cooking, hygiene, transportation use, and money management Encourage community participation and self-advocacy Maintain accurate and timely documentation of goals, progress, and case notes Attend team meetings and collaborate with Regional Center staff, families, and other support team members Ensure client safety and uphold client rights at all times Model and promote respectful and professional behavior Assist participant with bathroom needs, hygiene, and personal care respectfully and professionally.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred) Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and problem-solve Valid CA driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance Must pass a background check and TB testPosition Summary:
The Day Program DSP supports adult clients with developmental disabilities in a community-based day program environment. Staff provide supervision, skill-building activities, and personal care assistance as needed. The goal is to foster growth, independence, and meaningful engagement for all participants.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise up to 3 clients per staff member in a structured and supportive setting Assist clients in daily activities such as communication, meal prep, personal hygiene, and mobility Implement individualized service plans (ISPs) and promote client goals Lead or support community outings, social skills groups, and recreational activities Record daily progress notes and incident reports in accordance with program standards Provide compassionate care for non-verbal or lower functioning individuals Uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment Respond calmly and appropriately to behavioral challengesQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in caregiving or working with people with disabilities preferred Patience, reliability, and compassion are a must Ability to lift, assist with transfers, and engage in physical activity Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Must pass background clearance and health screening Position Summary We are seeking a caring and responsible 1:1 Support Staff to provide individualized support for a participant in our Community Day Services program. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of others while ensuring safety, growth, and community inclusion. Schedule Monday-Friday (typical program hours: 8:00AM- 2:00 PM) Occasional evenings or weekends for special outings.
