Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team (ASIANS(Vietnamese), LatinaHIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO APPLY
).Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Escort residents to appointments and outings
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior
- Provide dementia care and memory support to residents with cognitive impairments
- Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity at all times
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience in dementia care and memory care preferred
- Knowledge of assisted living regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift and transfer residents using proper body mechanics
- First aid certification is a plus
- Proficient in taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
