Monday

• Friday | Choice of 10:00 AM
• 2:00 PM or 10:30 AM
• 2:30 PM (4 hours/day, 20 hours/week)

Active companionship, meal prep, cognitive engagement, and local transportation/errands

Companionship & Engagement:

Providing active companionship, emotional support, and calm redirection when needed.

Personal Care Assistance:

Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, brief changes, and hygiene.

Mobility & Safety:

Supporting ambulation, transfers, and proactive fall prevention.

Nutrition & Wellness:

Preparing simple meals, encouraging hydration, and providing timely medication reminders.

Home & Community Support:

Light housekeeping, laundry, running errands, and incidental client transportation.

Communication & Professionalism:

Observing and reporting changes in condition, maintaining professional boundaries, and keeping personal cell phone use to a minimum while on duty.

Qualifications & Requirements State Registration:

Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration required prior to placement (CNAs welcome, but an active CA HCA registration is mandatory under state law; assistance available if you need to register) .

Health & Safety:

Negative TB test clearance and ability to pass standard background/hiring checks.

Experience:

Previous professional or family caregiving experience preferred (CNA/CHHA certifications are a plus).

Transportation:

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance (required for driving shifts).
