Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide support and assistance to an individual in their own home. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be the trusted companion and caregiver for a senior client with diverse needs. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help create a comfortable and nurturing environment for the client. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs). Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs, recognizing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or dementia care such as Alzheimer's or memory care. Strong knowledge of home health practices, hospice care, assisted living environments, and long-term care procedures. Ability to observe patient conditions carefully and document changes accurately for care plans. Familiarity with patient monitoring tools like vital signs measurement and medication administration protocols. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, family members, and healthcare teams while respecting residents' rights. Basic first aid certification along with CPR training to respond promptly during emergencies. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
