The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of those in your care. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including toileting, grooming, dressing, and feeding. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for residents. Monitor and document patient observations, including changes in health or behavior. Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Implement memory care strategies for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. Uphold resident rights and maintain confidentiality at all times. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and well-being. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Experience Previous experience in senior care, home health, or long-term care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with dementia care techniques and memory care practices is a plus. Knowledge of first aid procedures and patient observation skills is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed while ensuring safety protocols are followed. A compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills is essential for this role. Monday-Friday, 7:30am-2:00pm
Pay:
Up to $18.42 per hour
