Family Assistant / Caregiver We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and organized individual to help support a busy household with children, daily routines, and some caregiving assistance. This position will primarily involve helping with the children before and after school, along with providing general support in the home as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

Arrive approximately one hour before the children leave for school Help prepare breakfast and assist the children with getting ready for the day Drive the children to school Return in the afternoon for school pickup Bring the children home and help them settle into their evening routine Prepare a simple dinner or supper as needed Assist with homework and schoolwork Help keep the children on schedule and organized Assist with light household chores and general tidying Run occasional household errands when needed

Transportation:

Reliable personal transportation is preferred but not required during working hours. A family vehicle can be available for school transportation and errands. Applicants should be comfortable and confident driving a larger SUV, such as a Chevrolet Suburban. A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required.

Additional Caregiving Support:

The family is also looking for someone who can provide support to an adult family member who has been experiencing medical issues. Depending on her needs, this may include: Being present in the home and keeping an eye on her well-being Helping her with day-to-day needs when necessary Providing companionship and general assistance Helping with meals, water, or getting comfortable Providing medication reminders or medication assistance as directed by the family and within the caregiver's permitted scope Communicating with the family if there are any concerns or changes This is not intended to be a nursing position, but we are looking for someone who is attentive, compassionate, and comfortable assisting someone who may need additional support.

Schedule:

The schedule can have flexibility during the middle of the day.

The caregiver would typically:

Arrive approximately one hour before school to help with breakfast and getting the children ready Drop the children off at school Have the option to leave after school drop-off and return later in the afternoon Return for school pickup Stay through the afternoon/evening to help with dinner, homework, chores, and the household routine There may also be times when additional daytime assistance is needed depending on the family's needs.
