As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide essential care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Job Summary:
As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, helping them with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship. If you are a retired individual looking for part-time work that offers flexibility and the chance to make a positive impact in the lives of others, this role is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Help clients transfer or move from one location to another within their home Provide housekeeping assistance (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, laundry, and more) Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to client preferences Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments Offer companionship through activities like reading, puzzles, music, and conversations Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises and medication reminders
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
Previous experience in caregiving is required
Communication Skills:
Ability to read, write, and understand English Must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and pass a background check
Certifications:
Registered as a Home Care Aide; CNA license also preferred
Personality:
