Job Description
We are looking for a Caregiver to care for our 2 adult medically fragile clients at care-home. Clients are both incontinent. Part time 15-30 hours a week. Open shifts include 3 nights a week 5pm-830pm and two weekends a month split shifts 10am to 3pm and 5pm-8pm. Responsibilities
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene. Clients are incontinent.
- Perform light housekeeping
- Accompany with outings and educational activities. Requirements
- current first aid and (CPR)
- experience in caregiving
- current physical within the last year.
- DSP 1 ( direct support professional) only would have if you have worked in a care home for a year. Is not a requirement for job.
- Physical endurance must be able to get up and down off of floor when clients are not in wheelchair. Clients have mat time when out of wheelchair.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- must be able to lift 50lbs
- current California drivers license.
