Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, including first aid procedures and CPR when necessary. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns. Support children with behavior management techniques that encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation. Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of neglect or abuse in accordance with legal requirements. Requirements Prior experience working with children across various age groups, especially infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is preferred. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging activities tailored to children's developmental stages. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Familiarity with child supervision techniques, behavior management strategies, and daycare or nannying experience.
