Caregiver / Resident Assistant - Boutique 6-Bed Senior Home (RCFE)
Overview:
Join the Canyon View Group. We operate beautiful, 6-bed Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) in the quiet communities of San Diego, CA. We pride ourselves on providing a cheerful, loving, warm, and serene home environment for our seniors, and a highly supportive, close-knit workplace for our caregiving staff. We are urgently hiring for our Canyon View Country Home location.
Compensation:
Competitive Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience and active certifications).

Core Responsibilities:
As an RCFE Caregiver, your duties will be heavily focused on direct, hands-on care, including: Providing gentle, dignified assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting. Safe medication management, logging, and timely reminders in accordance with Title 22 regulations. Preparing nutritious, balanced, and appetizing daily meals for our residents. Maintaining a pristine living space, including light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes. Providing genuine companionship, emotional support, and facilitating engaging social activities. Apply:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
CRITICAL
Must possess an active CDSS Live Scan criminal background clearance (DOJ/FBI). Must hold current adult First Aid and CPR certifications. Completion of the state-mandated 40-hour
AB 1570 RCFE
initial caregiver training (including dementia care modules) is highly preferred. Must be physically capable of safely assisting residents with mobility and transfers. A high degree of patience, emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for senior care.
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
