Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including home health, assisted living, and group homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide personal care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, dementia etc. Monitor patients' vital signs and overall health condition, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary requirements. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Administer medication reminder as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Document patient care activities accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Skills First aid and CPR certification are preferred. Experience in home health, memory care, hospice care, or long-term care settings is highly desirable. Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status or behavior. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Familiarity with memory care techniques and direct support practices is an asset.
