Job Overview Beta-Care Support Solutions LLC is a growing home and community-based care agency dedicated to supporting children, adults, seniors, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide compassionate, person-centered care that promotes independence, dignity, safety, and an improved quality of life. We are currently seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate caregivers to join our flexible staffing team. This position is ideal for individuals looking for supplemental income or a flexible work schedule. Shifts are not guaranteed on a fixed schedule; instead, caregivers are notified as client assignments become available and may choose to accept shifts that fit their availability. Position Summary As a Flexible Shift Caregiver, you will provide high-quality personal care and community-based support to clients in their homes and throughout the community. You will assist with activities of daily living, companionship, childcare when applicable, and community participation while encouraging independence and maintaining each client's dignity and safety. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement. Supervise and provide care for children when assigned. Assist clients with meal planning, meal preparation, and feeding when needed. Support clients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and exercise activities. Escort clients to appointments, community outings, recreational activities, shopping, and other community-based activities. Observe and promptly report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or behavioral condition. Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe and clean environment. Accurately document services provided and complete required daily notes. Follow individualized care plans and company policies. Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and other members of the care team. Promote each client's independence, dignity, and personal choice at all times. Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of experience in caregiving, home care, childcare, nannying, or a related field preferred. Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers. Strong observation skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Must be comfortable working with clients of different ages and support needs. Requirements Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration (required; assistance with registration is available if needed). Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Negative TB test. Valid California Driver's License. Reliable personal vehicle. Current automobile insurance.
