This vital role involves providing personalized care in clients' homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, promoting independence and quality of life through attentive, respectful, and professional service. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs, ensuring safe transfers Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with privacy standards Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing home settings or working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and autism support is highly desirable Certifications in First Aid and CPR are required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed for patient support Strong observational skills to monitor patient condition and report changes accurately Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for travel between client homes Join us in delivering exceptional home care that enriches lives!
