Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to promote independence and well-being Support clients with mobility using proper patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques Monitor vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report changes to healthcare professionals to ensure optimal health management Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation Medication reminders Provide companionship, engage in social activities, and support mental health through effective client communication Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with care standards Experience Prior experience working with senior home care is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred Familiarity following care plans and resident's rights Background in geriatrics or hospice care provides valuable insight into end-of-life support and compassionate caregiving Ability to handle heavy lifting safely using proper techniques patient transfers and mobility If you are passionate about making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving—whether through home care experience —this opportunity is perfect for you.
