As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or others in need of personal care. Your role will involve promoting resident rights, providing direct support, and ensuring the overall well-being and safety of our clients. Job Details Provide compassionate and personalized care Hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders Engage clients in meaningful activities and cognitive stimulation exercises Monitor and document changes in clients' conditions and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients while ensuring dignity and respect at all times Support clients in maintaining a clean and organized living environment Skills Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as transferring clients from bed to wheelchair Knowledge of social work principles and practices First Aid and CPR certification preferred Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Requirements Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience Valid driver's license and reliable automobile with proof of insurance CPR certification Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray and a cleared physical exam within the past 6 months Must pass criminal background and drug screening Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Assistance levels vary depending on client mobility.
