In this role, you will provide essential daily care and support to elderly or disabled individuals in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. Per Diem / As-Needed Position - No Guaranteed Hours Please note: Our caregiver positions are per diem/as-needed positions and do not guarantee a minimum number of hours, shifts, clients, or a set schedule. Assignments are offered based on a combination of factors, including: Client needs and available shifts Your availability Geographic location Your skills, experience, and competencies Client preferences and overall compatibility Because home care is client-driven, schedules and available assignments may change as client needs change. Caregivers are encouraged to keep their availability current and remain responsive to assignment opportunities. Keeping your availability updated and being responsive to the agency helps us identify and offer assignments that may be a good match for you. Assignment availability is not guaranteed and may vary based on client needs and the factors listed above. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Provide companionship and emotional support Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team Communicate ongoing care updates to the agency and family members Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment Follow individualized care plans to ensure the highest quality of care Qualifications Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration required Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal care or a related field preferred Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor Ability to build rapport and trust with clients Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and follow care plans Reliable communication and responsiveness to assignment opportunities About Tender Home Health Tender Home Health is a trusted, California-licensed home health and caregiving agency dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to individuals in the comfort and safety of their own homes.
