Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by delivering personalized care, promoting independence, and ensuring safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about enhancing quality of life through attentive caregiving. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, mental state, and overall well-being, documenting changes accurately Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Administer medications following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to promote hygiene and safety Support clients with mobility using manual handling techniques or equipment like Hoyer lifts when required Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation, especially for seniors or individuals with developmental disabilities Skills Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice care practices Ability to observe patient conditions closely and report findings accurately for care planning purposes Familiarity with medical procedures including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, CPR/First Aid certification Experience working within home health or community care environments while maintaining HIPAA compliance Competence in assisting with manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts and supporting residents during transfers Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams, families, and clients' support networks Join us in providing compassionate home-based care that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably.
