The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized memory care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalized care and support. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health status by observing and recording vital signs and overall condition Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, utilizing specialized techniques Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies and procedures Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, home health, hospice care, or long-term care preferred Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance are highly desirable Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude towards residents of all ages and abilities Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Must be 18 years or older and able to pass background checks as required by regulatory standards Join our team to provide compassionate caregiving that improves lives every day.
