This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As a Direct Care Worker, you will be the primary caregiver, fostering a warm and respectful environment for residents or clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, Recreational activities and Community outings weekly Complete daily charting and documentation Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Administer medication following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities accurately-Within 60 days of Employment, the RN will certify you Support individuals with Intellectual & Cognitive disabilities through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies adhering to safe patient lifting practices and transfers Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control standards are met Some Experience but not Required working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments in home or community settings We will train you to the Facilities expectations Familiarity with long-term care procedures, geriatrics, and senior care environments Certification in CPR and First Aid is required within 60 days Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Join us as a Direct Care Worker to empower individuals through compassionate support while building rewarding relationships.
