You may work with individuals who are highly independent, nonverbal, require assistance with daily living, or experience behavioral challenges. Schedule:

This position follows a regular weekly schedule; however, as a 24-hour residential care facility, schedules may occasionally be adjusted to meet staffing needs, provide coverage, or accommodate the needs of the individuals we support. We make every effort to be flexible and provide advance notice whenever possible.

Shift days available:

Saturday /sunday 10 am-8pm Monday /Tuesday noon-8pm Thursday/Friday 1-11 /Saturday 9-7/ Sunday 12-11 ( times may vary)

Requirments:

High school diploma or GED. Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record. Must pass DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening DSP experience but not required . We will provide paid training. What This Job Is Like No two days are exactly alike. You may spend your day helping an individual prepare meals, attend appointments, complete household tasks, or enjoy a community outing. Other days may involve supporting someone who is nonverbal, assisting with personal care, or responding to behavioral challenges. At times, individuals may become verbally aggressive, use inappropriate language, yell, or throw objects. Staff are trained to respond using communication, de-escalation techniques, and person-centered support rather than physical intervention. Success in this role requires patience, emotional maturity, consistency, ability to remain calm, and a genuine desire to help others live meaningful, independent lives.
